Studying is funny!

So, I just spent the last 3 hours studying for Art History. I think I just had one of the funniest times of my life. I have a study friend, and we were coming up with different ways to remember the various pieces of art with the artist who did it, and the time period it came from(plus facts about each piece). Hilarious! It's crazy how many artists unintentionally use symbols of their names!! And it was great that the person I was studying with has my same sense of humor and simple brain. Lots of laughs.
Sadly, studying for English wasn't quite the same. Boring! I really dislike English classes. Mainly because you always have to know the teachers mind and what he wants. Not like math where there is a right and a wrong answer. No, it's just what the teacher thinks qualifies. I hate it. I am a unique individual, not a clone of my teacher. We will obviously have opposing views on some things. Oh well! After this semester I don't think I will ever have to take an English class again. Hooray!
On another happy note, I have an exercise partner in my gym class, and she is teaching me how to play racquetball tonight. Yay. And then we are going swimming. I love the idea of having free facilities for students. Good times!
Well, I better get busy finishing my English homework and getting it out of the way. BLAH!!
Good evening, everyone!

Glad you had fun with art, and just do your very best with English! You survived him as a teacher once, and got an A.....plus, it never hurts to try to understand others even if you don't agree with them...or ever want to! Have a great fun time playing tonight!

Glad things are going well. Its fun to have good people to study with and funny ways to remember random facts. I am jealous that you have a free gym. I miss playing racquetball. I was the women's champion 3 semesters in a row when I was in college!!

Fun Muffin! I don't know how, but I managed to live with Merilee for a whole semester and she never even taught me to play racquetball... so sad! Just kidding, we were both so busy we didn't have the time!! Sounds like a ton of fun though. I'm glad you found a study partner for Art History- that should make the class better for you. Good luck!
