Help us!!

AHHH!!! Alex and I have been searching and searching to find housing near the U. Obviously we don't want any more than $500 a month.....specially because tuition is going to put us out on the street. One of our last options of housing just went out the door......so now we don't know where to look anymore! Hmmm. Alex doesn't get any financial aid because his mom got social security last year and he can't file as married until next school year! We are having troubles getting my financial aid to be recognized.
Next, Alex is having troubles figuring out his schedule and getting the classes he needs. He wants to do architecture, but can only apply for the program after he has completed 6 classes and can only apply in the spring to do the program in the fall. Therefore, he has 3 semesters to get those 6 classes and then try applying for the program which he'd have to get into. It's all looking very daunting......and the physics and calculus don't sound fun.
The only good news, I have decided that I'm going to go into Early Childhood Education. And I don't have to sign up for a program. And I'm all signed up for my classes. And my husband loves me lots. The only problem is being able to pay for school, live closer over there, get Alex some classes, get him in the program he wants, find jobs so we can continue to eat, and remain happy!! :) Jk. I'm sure it will work out, but it's a little scary at the moment.
Also, the transition from Snow College (where the whole campus fits on one block), to the University of Utah (where one building takes up an entire block) makes us feel like poor little 5 year olds lost in a big huge world! It is all very overwhelming this week.
Well, yeah, there is my update.
Wish us luck!
Love you all!
Kristen

Sheesh! Good luck! I miss your face :) I guess you shouldn't have left me and good ol' ephraim eh? jk I'm sure it will all work out. Just keep paying your tithing and you'll find a way to pay for your other needs.

Isn't it fun when life throws you a curveball? Hope everything works out... and for the record, we're super glad that you are closer now, and not just for the babysitting convenience :) Love you kid.
