MOVING!

Alex and I are moving to Logan tomorrow!!! Hooray!! Life is moving forward once again. We have felt like we have been at a stand still for a while so it will be nice to get moved in, settled, and finding jobs!!
For those of you who didn't hear, Alex and I went up to Logan to look at apartments and then stayed the night with Grandma and Grandpa. The next morning Grandpa had to go to a meeting with his accountant in Idaho Falls.....as he backed out of their driveway, he backed right into my car. He left a pretty good dent in the back passenger side of my car. We were going to have their insurance pay for a shop to fix it, but then we decided (after getting the $2,234.18 estimate) that we would try to just get the money, fix the necessary things, and live with a dent. So, an insurance guy came out to appraise the damages and write us a check....well, a warning popped up on his computer that said that it might be a 'total loss'. A little dent in the side of my car was possibly not worth the value of my car. Sad day. In that case the insurance can decide that it isn't worth it to fix, and they'll only send a check for 25% of the value of the car (about $550). We were thinking that was quite ridiculous and we have been waiting the results.....will they give us the money to fix it? Or will they call my car a total loss? Alex called them today to check the status and the lady said she would send out a check tomorrow. Now we just have to see what kind of check she is going to send. She never said anything about a total loss.....we are hoping that they will give us the full amount for the damages. Besides, Alex has just about fixed my car for about $50......it'd be nice if we could keep the difference!!!!
It's been entertaining none the less!
Hoping all is well!
Kristen

Aren't insurance companies fun to wait for. Hope they give you the money- wouldn't that be a nice bonus. You'd have to write Grandpa a thank you note for the nice gift :)

Have fun in Logan! We miss you guys already, so you better not be strangers. Have a super great time though-- go to a married student ward- they are the best for meeting a lot of fun people!
