Are we weird?

1. We don't want a new car because that equals monthly car payments.
2. We spend our store credit on stamps so we can send 'thank you' cards.
3. We don't dress up for Halloween because it's dumb.
4. We don't spend our money on dumb things like haunted tunnels.
5. We don't like to stay out and party until all hours of the night.
6. We'd rather be with each other than in a crowd of people.
7. We don't like school dances/stomps/whatever they are.
8. We walk out of comedian shows at the first sign of inappropriacy.
9. We bargain for any discount we can get.
10. We didn't ever have to 'take a break' from each other.

I love my husband!!!
And he loves me!!!

Well, I have NEVER wanted a new car, new fridge, new stove, new washer and drier, etc.......However, it is always sad when it becomes a necessity!! I turn off movies or leave at the first sign of impropriety, I do not like crowds, YOU have never liked Halloween, most school type (or, unfortunately church type) dances are inappropriate, and dad and I were away from each other for the first time when Lisa was 3 and James was 2 [dad took a business trip to Atlanta, Georgia]. I sobbed all the way home from the airport--then packed my bags and went to Seattle so I didn't have to be alone. I could hardly stand the separation. Hmmmmmmm, you must be my daughter!!

Oh, and after 35 years, I still don't like to be away from dad.....

I'd say you're very noodle-headish. I think dressing up is fun. It is different when you have kids-- but WAIT a few years. Enjoy each other for a while.

Car payments are no fun-- it's better to wait and pay cash if you can (side note, we have a car payment... and we need to buy another car very soon) Dressing up is tons of fun with kids. School dances are MUCH more fun now that you don't have to wonder if you'll be asked to dance-- Michael and I pretty much ignored the crowd and danced for the fun of it. We have never needed to take a break from each other and have only been apart a couple of times. I have never been away from the kids for more than a few hours. And there is nothing wrong with spending your store credit on stamps for thank you's-- hallelujah for free money.

Just enjoy life and make it fun together!!
