This was about 20 minutes before Alex proposed. We were almost to the top of Dizzy Rock. Alex was going to propose up there, but decided against it because I was pretty nervous because of previous hiking experiences that day. I think he was pretty smart!! After we had done some wedding planning a few days later, we decided that we wanted our colors to be White, Orange, and Yellow. Notice the clothes we wore the day we were engaged. Funny, huh?

This is the day 1 of being engaged. We hiked up to the Timpanogos caves. When we were in the caves there is a time when they turn off all the lights so you can see what absolute darkness actually is. The guide asked us if anyone had a diamond ring so he could shine a laser in it and see the sparkle on the ceiling. One lady said, "Yeah, I have one." And I piped up, "I got one yesterday!!!!!" Needless to say, we used mine. And it sparkled nicely! :) Alex chose well. I think my ring is gorgeous!

Here's just a cute picture in a rock on the Timpanogos hike. We liked it!

And here is my ring!!!!!!
Mom said I needed a new post, so here it is!! I have a funny story, too! I was standing up, or something, and said, "Man, I'm getting old." Jarom says, "You're not old. Your skin is still flat!!" I guess that's the view of a 4 year old. Old people are wrinkly!!! :)

You are very cute. I love the one of you on the rock. too cute.
Hmmmmmm, no one must be blogging this week.......no comments. I was going to read what everyone siad, but nobody said anything!!! Very boring.
You are still very cute to look at, though! And I still love you a zillion.
Sorry to be so boring, Mom!
When you stay up until midnight to wash dishes several nights in a row and your house still looks like a tornado went through, you know you are a little too busy!
I love the pictures, Kristen. You should get the one on the rock blown up and framed. It's really cute.
That's fun that everyone got to find out about your engagement and use your ring!
