What a great and fantastic day!!!

Yesterday I took an adventure all over Portland!! Thank you MapQuest!! I first drove out to the Five Oaks building where I met one of my high school friends who is on a mission here. He is coming home in 3 months, so he asked me if I could take something home for him. We chatted for a few minutes. Kinda weird to see him! After that I went and picked up Natalie and we went to Jamba Juice. As we were leaving the neighborhood I saw Jelly Bean. He's still around!!!! Probably 15 years old now, and very cute!! We wandered around for a while and then went back to her house and watched a funny tv episode of one of her favorite shows. It was fun to see their family again. It's been SO long.
What a cute kitty!!!

The temple was gorgeous!!
And the flowers were gorgeous, too!

After I went to Natalie's house, I stopped at Ron's. We talked for a long time! It was fun to see them again. She didn't recognize me at first, but then remembered. Ron knew me right off.

After the trip to Bluegrass Downs, I drove over to the temple and took lots of pictures. Then I went over to the Holmans. It was fun to see them again. We watched some of the Olympics!! I almost forgot that the Olympics were even happening this year. I kinda like watching them. I particularly like gymnastics, but I will probably end up not watching them. Oh well!! It's a pretty neat event. And in the 10 minutes that I watched, 3 world records were broken. Crazy!! I don't see how people can keep getting that much faster. Woah!!

Well, that was a fun day. I stayed the night at the Holmans, and then drove back to Merilee's this morning. I just have 4 more days in Oregon. I'll be glad to get back to Alex and to the new stresses of school. I can't quite decide what would be better......Ezra crying and Jarom whining, or doing homework every day. Hmmm!!! I think both situations have their ups and downs. I guess it's just the next stage of life and I'm really looking forward to it!!!

Love you all!!!
Kristen

I love you and miss you.
Drive home carefully. And, each stage of life has it's interesting/stressful/fun/exciting/hard/easy, etc. parts!!
